    Kuwait: Churches prepare for re-opening

    Preparations to re-open churches in Kuwait are in full- swing, as the country gradually returns to normal life amid the coronavirus crisis. The churches, which have suspended services for three months, were sterilized on Friday as part of ongoing efforts to reopen them for worshippers.

    Holy Mass at the Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City

    The Cathedral will re-open on August 7, 2020. The number of faithful allowed to attend Masses has been decided taking into consideration the guidelines set by the Health Authorities and the available space in the Cathedral and in the halls with strict adherence to social distancing. Prior registration to attend Mass is compulsory.

    To maintain proper rules and regulations of social distancing, the maximum seating capacity permitted in the churces will be CATHEDRAL (175), HALLS – Holy Family (80), Padre Pio (30), Virgin Mary (38) Good Shepherd (28)
