Medvedev said that the special operation in Ukraine will continue until the set goals are achieved

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said that the special military operation in Ukraine is going according to plan and will continue until the goals set – denazification and demilitarization of the country are achieved.

According to him, Ukraine should become neutral , to be a normal neighbor of Russia and not pursue an anti-Russian policy.

“The special operation began because the goals set by the Russian government were not achieved through diplomacy. Now the course of the operation is proceeding according to the plan, which is determined by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. According to the current Constitution, it is the President,” said Dmitry Medvedev.

He stressed that the special military operation will continue until the goals set by the President of the country are achieved.

“Ukraine should receive the status of a neutral state, not to pursue an anti-Russian policy and to be a normal neighbor of Russia. Therefore, the special operation will continue until the results of the denazification and demilitarization of the country are achieved,” Medvedev said.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev called the condition for the return of the death penalty in Russia.

According to him, , there are now no restrictions on the return of the death penalty in Russia, but everything will depend on the current situation – the moratorium may remain if everything is calm, or it may be revised if necessary.
