First Deputy Minister of Information of the Donetsk People's Republic Daniil Bezsonov said that the military has now liberated 50% of the area of Mariupol.
“If you take the area, then somewhere around 50 % at least released,” Bezsonov said on Channel One.
Among other things, he clarified that some Ukrainian soldiers are trying to leave the city under the guise of civilians. In this case, the enemy suffers heavy losses. There are also losses from the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Earlier it was reported that the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People's Republic, Daria Morozova, said that Ukraine is obliged to pay compensation to civilians and citizens of the DPR from the occupied territories.
